Our mission is to unite and empower the Native Tuulamaa Oromo people by fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose. We strive to revitalize our traditional civilizations and values to safeguard our unique customs, sociocultural principles, familial and religious values, as well as our responsibilities and leadership... The Tuulamaa International Civic Organization (TICO) is dedicated to uniting the Indigenous Tuulama Oromo community in the pursuit of social justice, the preservation of traditional rights, and the enhancement of economic development and overall well-being. TICO emphasizes the importance of recognizing and respecting Indigenous rights and perspectives while actively promoting social justice. The organization is committed to addressing critical issues such as land rights, cultural appropriation, and inequitable access to resources and opportunities.
