Welcome to the Tuulamaa International Civic Organization (TICO). Based in the heart of Calgary, we are a non-profit dedicated to strengthening the fabric of our local society. Our mission is two-fold: to support the indigenous Tuulamaa Oromo internationally, and to serve our Canadian families here at home. Through community networking and cultural exchange, we are closing the gaps in social integration, empowering our youth, and contributing to the diverse and vibrant culture of Alberta.
Our commitment is to create meaningful connections that transcend borders, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose. By offering platforms for cultural exchange and collaboration, we aim to inspire innovation and solidarity among diverse groups. Our efforts are rooted in the belief that every community has the potential to thrive when given the tools and opportunities to do so.
