Building Bridges in Calgary: Empowering Communities, Connecting Cultures.
Tuulamaa International Civic Organization (TICO) is a Calgary-based non-profit dedicated to the successful integration of African diaspora families into Canadian society. Guided by the values of the Gadaa system, we provide the tools for economic self-sufficiency while delivering life-saving aid to vulnerable populations in East Africa (Ethiopia).
Our Impact: From digital literacy in Calgary to emergency food relief in Ethiopia, we are building a global network of support.
Our Commitment: 100% of our programs are free and accessible to the public.
Our commitment is to create meaningful connections that transcend borders, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose. By offering platforms for cultural exchange and collaboration, we aim to inspire innovation and solidarity among diverse groups. Our efforts are rooted in the belief that every community has the potential to thrive when given the tools and opportunities to do so. Through partnerships and collective action, we strive to create a future where everyone has the chance to contribute to and benefit from a more equitable world.
