Tuulamaa International Civic Organization (TICO) is a registered Canadian charity operating locally in Calgary, Alberta, and internationally in Ethiopia. TICO was established to address systemic barriers faced by equity-deserving groups, newcomers, refugees, and racialized communities. By bridging the gap between immediate relief—such as food security and trauma-informed care and long-term self-sufficiency through tech education and workforce integration, TICO fosters sustainable community empowerment across borders.
